Signing in & your account
Create an account, sign in with email, a social account or a passkey, and turn on two-factor security.
This page covers every way to get into Sennith — creating your account, the different sign-in methods, resetting a forgotten password, and adding extra security like two-factor authentication and passkeys.
Create an account
You can sign up with an email and password, or continue with a Google, GitHub or Microsoft account.
Start signing up. Choose "Continue with Google", "Continue with GitHub" or "Continue with Microsoft", or fill in the form below with your details.
Add your details. Enter your first and last name, your email address, and a password (at least 6 characters). A profile picture is optional — you can add one now or later. The password field shows a strength hint as you type.
Confirm your email. If you signed up with email and password, we send a confirmation message to your address. Open it and click the link to activate your account. No email yet? Check your spam folder.
Complete your profile. If you signed up with a social account, we'll ask you to confirm your name before continuing. Your email is filled in for you and can't be changed here.
Sign in
On the sign-in screen you have a few options:
- Email and password — enter the address and password you signed up with.
- Social account — continue with Google, GitHub or Microsoft, the same one you used to sign up.
- Passkey — if your device supports it and you've added a passkey, sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN. No password needed.
Turn on Stay signed in to stay logged in on this device between visits. Leave it off on shared or public computers.
If you see a message that access isn't enabled, the account you're trying to reach hasn't been switched on yet. Reach out to the person who runs your Sennith space.
Forgot or reset your password
If you can't remember your password, choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to set a new one. For your security, the link works once and expires after a while — if it's no longer valid, just request a new one. Opening the link lets you choose and confirm a new password (at least 8 characters).
Changing your password from inside your account works the same way: Sennith emails you a secure link rather than letting you type a new password directly on the page.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds a second step when you sign in — a six-digit code from an authenticator app — so your password alone isn't enough to get in. You set it up in your account's Security settings.
Activate. In Security settings, under Two-factor authentication, choose Activate.
Scan the code. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (such as the one on your phone). Can't scan it? Enter the shown setup code into the app manually instead.
Confirm. Type the six-digit code from your app to finish turning it on.
Save your backup codes. Sennith gives you a set of one-time backup codes. Copy or download them and keep them somewhere safe — each one lets you get in once if you lose access to your app. You can generate a fresh set later, which replaces the old ones.
Once it's on, signing in asks for your six-digit code after your password. Lost your authenticator? Choose Lost your authenticator? and enter one of your backup codes instead.
Backup codes are shown only once. If you didn't save them, generate a new set from Security settings before you need them.
Passkeys
A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of a password. You add and manage passkeys in your account's Security settings: choose Add passkey and follow your device's prompt. You can name each passkey (handy if you use more than one device), see when it was added and last used, and remove any you no longer want.
A passkey sign-in also satisfies two-factor authentication — if you have 2FA on and sign in with a passkey, you won't be asked for a separate code.
