Workspace
Your workspace settings and every tab — overview, members, roles & routing, permissions, webhooks, API, public views, and the danger zone.
A workspace is a self-contained space for a team's projects, customers, and client communication. This page is where you set that workspace up and run it — who's in it, how incoming requests are handled, how your public pages look, and how it connects to outside tools. Use the tabs across the top to move between areas. The settings here apply to the workspace you currently have selected in the switcher.
Many of the collaboration features below (coworking, custom roles, routing, SLAs, escalation, custom branding, configurable permissions) are part of Sennith Pro. On a free plan you'll see them explained with an upgrade prompt, and the sensible default behaviour applies.
Overview
A snapshot of the workspace and its next steps:
- Summary card — your role here, when it was created, its owner, plan, and member count.
- Key numbers — members, who's currently absent, projects, customers, open join requests, escalations, and shared resources.
- Next steps — gentle nudges toward anything unfinished: waiting join requests, routing/SLA not set up yet, inviting your team, or setting up your public appearance.
- Public appearance — your own logo, colors, portal label, and footer on the public project pages. Enable custom branding to replace the default Sennith look.
If your organization enforces a brand, branding here is locked and shows the company brand instead — see Organization.
Members
Everyone who works in this workspace, and how they get in:
- Members — see the team, promote a member to admin or demote them, transfer ownership, or remove someone. Roles are Owner, Admin, and Member.
- Invite — invite by email (the person can have an existing account or not). On a Team/Enterprise plan you can also Add from the company roster — people already in your organization.
- Join requests — approve or decline people who asked to join, choosing the role they get.
- Invite link — a shareable link; anyone who opens it sends a join request. You can regenerate it, which invalidates the old one.
- Invitation sender — which sender this workspace's invitation emails come from. By default it follows the organization's setting.
- Absence — set your own absence and a substitute so requests route around you while you're away.
Roles & routing
How incoming client requests are distributed and kept on track:
- Roles & titles — custom display titles for members (e.g. Project lead, Support). A role can be a single person or a group; group roles can fan out to everyone or hand requests out round-robin, one at a time. Roles can be linked to an organization template so their name and colour stay in sync.
- Redirect requests — the workspace default for where requests go: an "all requests to" catch-all, plus separate targets for general questions and urgent ones. Individual projects can override this.
- SLA / response deadlines — response and unclaimed-pickup deadlines per priority (Normal, Urgent). Projects and roles can override these.
- Escalation chain — automatically act on overdue or unclaimed requests through a series of steps. Each step can notify only, reassign the ticket, or raise its priority, targeting a role, a specific person, or the owner/admins, after set delays.
Permissions
A matrix controlling who may do what in the workspace. For each capability you choose a level: Owner only, Owner + Admin, or All members. Capabilities include managing public visibility, reassigning tickets, roles & routing, members & invitations, who can edit this matrix, manually escalating tickets, customer access, API keys, sending client updates, and managing other people's outgoing mail.
Only the owner (or admins allowed to) can edit this matrix. On a free plan the default (Owner + Admin) applies.
Webhooks
Outgoing webhooks let Sennith send a signed message to your own endpoint whenever updates happen — handy for connecting to Zapier, Make, n8n, or your own systems. Add an endpoint with a target URL, optionally filter by project, type, or important-only, and choose whether customer data is included. You can send a test, see recent deliveries, and rotate the signing secret.
Including customer data sends the customer's name and email to your third-party system — you're responsible for handling it in line with GDPR.
API
Create API keys to plug Sennith into n8n, Make, Zapier, or your own scripts over REST. Each key has a name and a set of scopes — per resource you grant read, write, and/or delete (delete is off by default and irreversible). The full key is shown only once at creation, so copy it then. You can revoke a key at any time.
Outgoing webhooks and the public API are Pro features. You can only create keys carrying rights you hold yourself.
Public views
Control what your public project pages expose for this workspace:
- Access defaults — the workspace's defaults for public-page access, following the organization standard unless the org leaves it free.
- Public views console — a read-through of this workspace's public project pages so you can review and manage them in one place.
Danger zone
Irreversible actions for this workspace:
- Leave workspace — you lose access to all its content.
- Delete workspace — permanently removes all its projects, customers, mails, and triggers.
Deleting a workspace can't be undone. Make sure the team no longer needs anything in it first.
